Extension lectures are arranged regularly by all departments. Resource persons from reputed teaching and research centers are invited to enrich the students and teachers in their respectable fields. Workshops are also organized by the departments to offer in-depth exposure on the subjects. Outdoor\field work and educational tours are arranged in order to broaden the academic horizons of the students.

A UGC sponsored programme particularly for the socially disadvantage students is offered in the college. A co-ordinator monitors the programme. A one month crash programme is also offered. A dedicated committee comprising a staff member from each department involve in remedial teaching for academically weak students. Senior Professors, Retired Faculty are also invited to give lectures and study material is provided free of cost. A question bank is maintained. Many books are purchased and issued to students.

It is mandatory to improve the aptitude and Skills of students in UGC sponsored Vocational B.Sc., Biotechnology and Add-On -Courses. They are trained in reputed centres. Bio-Serve, Best Bio-tech (Bangalore), Deccan Diagnostic &Research Centre, GVK Bio, Global institute of Bio Technology, Indigenous Bio Technologies, Celestial labs and DNA Research Centre.

Seminars are conducted to provide an opportunity for the students to interact and exchange view with eminent professors and other academicians. The PG departments of Botany, Zoology, Applied Electronics and Chemistry have hosted seminars on the latest trends.

Students were selected by IT grants like Infosys, IBM, Wipro and HP in the Year 2006-07. The Prestigious Reddy Labs had a MOU with the college and undergraduate students were selected for M.Sc., Tech.(Pharma)- a four year integrated programme under collaboration with BITS Pilani.
