- In the Era of cutthroat competition, which requires both the teacher as well as the student to acquaint with the latest information, it is the library which serves as a window of knowledge to acquire necessary and timely information.
- All the Heads of the Departments take the responsibility of library activities.

The functions of the Library Advisory Committees are as follows.

- Library has Open Access System i.e., students and staff are allowed to
go to the bookracks to select books of their choice without any restriction.

The library committee also takes care of display boards, user orientation-layout and total stock of books subject wise.
- The students and staff are not allowed to carry their bags into the library.

The books issued and returned are checked at the entrance and exit points.
- An office assistant looks after the Reference library with the assistance of an attender.

The reference library is accessible to both the students and staff.

There is a proper time table notified for the issue and receipt of books
for PG/ UG students.

There are grills to all windows and main entrance. A strict vigil is there for the security. The watchman, security personnel make frequent rounds.

The Xerox machine is one of the various reprographic facilities available as a support facility in the library along with a computer and internet facility.
- The Heads of Departments meet at regular intervals and discusses
about the current titles, important journals and other reading materials to be added to the Library.

Whenever the syllabi are changed the new books are purchased accordingly.
