| We have a 150-seat capacity audio-visual room equipped with an LCD overhead projector, slide projector for students and faculty activities like classroom presentations, guest lecture etc. |

| BOTANY (MUSEUM) HERBARIUM |
| The largest hall in the Department of Botany is allotted to the Herbarium commonly called as Museum. Since inception it is maintained and continually enriched by generations of staff members Teaching and non Teaching. The Department boasts of plant specimens collected from the Himalayas, cold and dry plains and the seas. Bryophytes, Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms are collected from various localities. Polytrichum from Kodai canal, Ulna from Cape Cameron (1971), Drosera from Kodai canal (1991), Drynoslossum from Trivandrum, Lycopodium from Ooty and Coonnoor (1965), Pines from Shimla (1972), and Coffee Arabica from Araku valley are a few examples. The second category includes specimens on pathology, spices and medicinal plants. Balanophora (root parasite) from Coonnoor, Podocarpus shoot with cones, Samara of Hyptage are some of the oldest specimens. A collection of Taxonomic specimens are preserved in Herbarium sheets. |

| GREEN HOUSE |
| The college has the privilege of maintaining a Green House for the last 50 years. It is centrally located, enclosed by four wings of the main building. On one side of the Green House certain medicinal plants like Withania somnifera, Rauwolfia serpentine, Adhatoda vasica, Acorus calamus, Ocimum sanctum, Ocimum bacillus, Tulophora, Psoraelia, Bacopa munnerii and Aloe Vera are maintained. Dieffenbachia, Agalonema, Dioscorea, Dracena, Acaaluphas, Alocasia, Beaucarnia, Pedilanthus, Ferns, etc are maintained on the other side. There are two sinks for hydrophytes like Pista, Eichhornia, Nymphea, Stellata, Lenna and others. Climbers like Thumbergia, Antigenen, and Artabotrys outside the Green House in the same enclosure add beauty and cover. Murraya koenigii, Citrus and certain related class work material function as "green lung" to the building. |

| GEOLOGY MUSEUM |
| The Museum comprises crystal models in wooden and plastic media and in twin media as well. Examples include rock-forming minerals, economic and special minerals which have distinct chemical and physical properties. There is a section-cutting equipment to prepare thin sections of rock for detailed study. Geology Museum caters to study the features and properties of Radio Active minerals. Invertebrate fossil collections from various parts of the country are preserved. |

| Zoology Museum |
| The Museum in the Department of Zoology is one of the best of Osmania University colleges. It has a huge collection of about 2000 rare specimens of invertebrates and vertebrates. The museum has a remarkable collection of insects, mollusks, corals, and a variety of fishes. The laboratory has, in addition, glycerin mounts, stuffed specimens and an osteology unit with a human skeleton. There are embryological static models of human embryos and closed glass fixture of Archaeopteryx. There is a collection of rare species of mammals. To add to the collection there is a remarkable assemblage of 10 varieties of dinosaurs put in a small Jurassic park. A model of evolutionary tree depicting Human Evolution is another attraction to the Museum. |

| ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB |
| Language labs has 12 systems and collection of audio activities cassettes on ESL for students and teachers to access freely and learn English naturally. We propose to provide, via the net with, a unique "Spoken Grammar". Further English language pronunciation practice is provided using minimal pairs.
List of recordings in the Language Laboratory. Pronunciation and General English (Sets of Textbooks and Cassettes); A Course of English Pronunciation Dictionary to help students enhance their pronunciation. Practicing on the Software daily will improve their communication in English to their desired levels and efficient communication. |

| SCIENCE COLLEGE |
| BNSC represents two libraries of UG and PG libraries and four special seminar libraries in the Departments of Physics and Applied Electronic, Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. The college has a well equipped library which houses about 15,712 books and subscribes to 12 journals. There are 5000 reference books and a well maintained Reading section. There is a separate Library section for the post graduate students. Supervised by a dynamic librarian and stocked with magazines, journals, weeklies and dailies our Reading section is the most used by staff and students. Supplementary materials including classic, standard works and text books needed by undergraduates and post graduates in the field of life and applied sciences are available. The College proposes to automate the library to offer online services and facilities. |

| ARTS & COMMERCE COLLEGE |
| The Arts College library has a wide range of books in different fields. Apart from books it also provides a wide range of magazines, journals and newspapers which provide upto date information. The library has an existing stock of 11000 volumes and every year the college has been spending considerable amount on the acquisition of latest copies in the are of commerce, management, personality development, economics, communications skills etc. Efforts are being taken to upgrade the library as a nerve centre of intellectual activity with automation. All the students have open access for borrowing books. |
