LIBRARY:
In addition to the college general library. Chemistry department is maintaining a separate seminar library containing about 600 books with 150 titles which enable the students to take two books from general library and two books from department library.
Among 600 books, 306 are by Indian Authors,294 Foreign authors
COMPUTER:
Department is maintaining a computer with latest configuration with Internet facility.

| RESEARCH DETAILS |
- Dr.R.Prasad Reddy completed a minor Research project entitled “Synthesis of ring-A-fused Heterocyclic triterpenes” funded by UGC.
- Dr.R.V.G.K.Mohan communicated
A Research paper and the same had been accepted for publication on the Inter National Journal “Oxidation-Communication (Bulgaria) and will be published in book 4, Vol-31(2008).
A Research paper has been accepted as a poster presentation in the scientific programme at the “2006-Goldschmidt conference” held at Sydney-Australia.
- Mrs.M.Manjula Gayathri submitted thesis and awarded PhD in Dec-2008.

| PLAN OF ACTION OF NEXT FIVE YEARS |
- Department is planning to conduct a National seminar on drug designing and molecular modeling. The proposals have been sent to UGC and it is under consideration.
- As we have tie up with different pharmaceutical labs like Reddy’s labs, we are planning to hold centralized campus placements.
- Planned to conduct state level Chemistry Quiz competition.
