A Pioneer institution in the field of higher education, New Science College established in the year 1956,(a trend setter in designing courses) is presently under the management of the Prestigious Bharatiya Vidya Bhava. 2005-06 is the Golden Jubilee year of the college. With well equipped laboratories, a huge collection of books in the library, the college can boast as one of the reputed colleges with best facilities. The highly qualified teaching and efficient non-teaching staff offer their services to the student community with zeal and enthusiasm.Keeping pace with the tremendous spurt in the area of information Technology, the college started the BCA course in 1998 and also restructured self financing courses in both Mathematics(Maths, Electronics and Computer Science) and Biological Sciences (Genetics, Chemistry and Computer Applications). In addition, Microbiology, a subject with great scope and future is being offered at the UG level.
Service to society being the motto, the college collects very minimum fee from the students both for aided and unaided courses.
